                              Capital Campaign

In the past three years, Exceptional Equestrians has undergone some BIG changes!  In the spring of 2009, EE determined that the time had come to move to our own home.  In July of 2009, we moved into a wonderful equine facility on Finch Road, right outside of Washington.  This new facility will allow EE to continue to grow and flourish- in 2011, we served more than 100 clients a week and added more than 8 additional weeks of lessons!

Our new facility has many wonderful features, such as more than 30 acres of trails, a beautiful barn and indoor arena and a heated breezeway.  Visit Our Facility page to see our new home.

However, in order to provide our exceptional clients wkith the best service possible, renovations are needed.  The program plans to increase the indoor arena size by building an additional barn to house the stalls, insulate and weather-proof the indoor arena in order to allow us to offer more weeks of lessons, and update the breezeway to provide our clients' families with a comfortable place to view the sessions.  These changes will come at considerable expense to the program, however, they will make EEMV a more efficient and effective program, actually decreasing our operating costs in the long run.

Of course, raising the funds for these renovations will take a great deal of fundraising and hard work. We're very fortunate to have been awarded and sold more than $196,926 of Neighborhood Assistance Program tax credits, resulting in $281,324 of donations to Exceptional Equestrians.  The Washington Rotary Club and Developmental Services of Franklin County have already made considerable donations to this very worthy cause.  Even with those donations, there is still a long way to go!  We ask that you help us in promoting this campaign, and encourage anyone you know to donate.  If you are interested in donating to the campaign, please click the donate link below.  All donations are tax-deductible. We are so excited about this great development, and know it will only improve what is already an incredible program.  We look forward to working with you all to make EE even better in the future. We'll be posting photos on this page as construction moves forward!
