The 5th Annual Ride-A-Thon was held on November 14th at Greensfelder State Park, and we're happy to say that the event went very well!  Despite the later date, the weather was the best we've ever had for a Ride-A-Thon.  Eighteen EEMV clients were able to enjoy the trail ride, and all did a great job fundraising!  Maggie S. was our first place fundraiser, Claire S. won second place and Becca P. was our third place fundraiser.  Congratulations to all our winners, and thanks to everyone who donated to our riders.  This event would not be possible without the help of LOTS of volunteers, so a special thanks must go out to everyone who helped by grooming, tacking, setting up, breaking down, leading, sidewalking, and all the other little tasks that are necessary to make this event happen.  We look forward to seeing you all again next year!

Thanks to all who attended our 5th Annual Wine, Dine and Whinny on June 13th.  The event was a great success, with our largest attendance yet.  We enjoyed a truly beautiful evening on the grounds of the lovely Robller Winery in New Haven.  The crowd viewed a demonstration by Exceptional Equestrians riders Peter Navetta, Laura Fenner, Abby Kleekamp and Kolin Storie.  Our silent and live auctions went very well, with a weekend trip to Vegas going for $800!  Thank you to our sponsors and all our volunteers who helped make this evening such a wonderful night for us all.  Check back soon for the date of Wine, Dine and Whinny, 2010!
