Sports Riding
Through Sports Riding our clients are able to get a number of therapeutic benefits while learning basic riding skills. Our goal at EEMV is to foster independence, so while most of our sports riding clients begin with a leader and one or two sidewalkers, many progressing to riding without a leader. Sports riding lessons are available at any skill level, from a beginner learning to walk to advanced clients who are beginning to canter and jump. The instructor will determine which class is best for the clients' abilities and needs. Sports Riding is available as a group or private lessons.
Sports Riding activities may include:
Steering through barrels or poles
Learning two-point position
Trotting over ground poles
Interactive games that inspire planning and spatial awareness such as follow the leader and red light-green light
Relay races
Trail Rides
